The plans are for 73 new homes including much needed family homes and high quality affordable housing. There will be generous parking provision within the development including blue badge parking spaces and 93 cycle parking spaces. The plans also include a new landscaped green area and children’s playspace.
The proposals offer the chance to improve the visual appearance of the site and provide new homes in a sustainable location, close to transport links and local amenities.
The proposals differ from previously approved plans in 2016 for 33 homes and a medical centre; due to difficulties with the viability of the medical centre Regent Land have worked with the council to change the scheme.
